Steele and Co. Ltd. have designed and fabricated railings for over 40 years and have considerable experience with the supply and erection of approved railings for roads, bridges and public buildings.

We offer the complete package of Design, Fabrication and Erection and can advise on suitable paints or protective treatment. We can also advise on compliance with the relevant codes and standards that apply to railings.

Project: Replace Aluminium handrail with N/1.00/M Steel handrail
Client: Wexford County Council

A vehicle hit the aluminium handrail (supplied by others) and passed through it into the river below. Steele & Co. then replaced the aluminium railing with a stronger steel railing to BS6779.

Parapet Anchorages: BS 6779

Parapet Railing Anchorages:
We manufacture (4x1) cluster and single grouted anchorages as holding down arrangements. These have been fabricated and tested in accordance with BS 6779.
